Phono Stages

The phono stage is undoubtedly one of the most critical parts of a vinyl based system.

It has the unenviable task of working with the minuscule signals from the cartridge, which it has to equalise and amplify to a dramatic degree. It is for this reason that we use triode valves exclusively in the signal path, as we find them to be the least intrusive, most natural and musical of all active amplifying devices.

The signal path is kept simple and short and parts quality, from the internal wiring to the solder use are all carefully considered.
